Live from Pack Expo 2021 – This week, Ryson is at Pack Expo in Las Vegas.
It is certainly nice to get out and interact with people again. The attendance is not 100% but there is a good crowd and we’ve had some great meetings.
This year we brought one of our Case Spirals, a Narrow Trak Spiral and a Mass Flow Spiral Conveyor. These three models typically make up most of our orders in the food, beverage and packaging markets.
New at our booth this year is an audio-visual lounge area. This space allows us to play videos, presentations and show off sections of our website to people that stop by our booth. It is a new opportunity to spend more informative sit-down time with our customers and integrators. Having our machinery up and running has always been a draw for us. But with this added section we are able to show unique aspects of our equipment, or present maintenance tips in a way we haven’t been able to do at previous shows.
Also our new 3D spiral video tour has been a hit. This informative virtual demonstration allows people to go “under the hood” and learn things about our spirals that we can’t always show off on a physical machine.
