How does the micro-pitch transfer improve small product handling?

The Ryson micro-pitch transfer conveyor is slave-driven from the drive or idle-end shafts and geared to match the spiral speed. This helps minimize the unpowered gap between the spiral and adjoining conveyors, making it easier to transfer smaller and lighter products at the infeed and discharge.

For end-transfer applications, friction inserts can be added to the slats when additional grip is required. This can support steeper incline or decline angles and greater elevation change with the same number of turns, depending on the application.

The chain is of heavy duty nickel plated construction and needs only infrequent lubrication.
