This week, we’re shipping two Ryson Narrow Trak Spirals (an incline and a decline) for transporting empty plastic bottles up from a bulk depalletizing station to be conveyed overhead and then back down to the filler and labeler.
Our 6” wide slat Narrow Trak was specified, but needed to utilize the larger-diameter model (1700-150NT) to facilitate the tall bottle’s clearance through the spiral. The spiral was painted one of Ryson’s 200 standard RAL colors and has an elevation change of 8 feet at a speed of 60 feet per minute.
The NT Spirals offer a significantly larger elevation change capacity than what is currently available in the small package marketplace. They are also a good alternative to side gripper conveyors because they can run at high speeds and do not need to be adjusted for varying product sizes.
