One way to use a single Ryson Spiral for two different production lines is to use a centered split lane divider.
We recently shipped this spiral to a major food manufacturer for our Integrator Partner, NCC Automated Systems. The spiral model 1700-600 is elevating plastic food trays 11’ supplied by two different production lines, separated by a center vertical divider (being added at the project site).
The spiral will run at 150 feet per minute and includes pre-wired controls and motorized rollers at the infeed and discharge, ensuring a smooth, uninterrupted transition on and off the spiral conveyor.
Ryson Spiral Conveyors are increasingly being used to vertically convey more than one production line by utilizing either a divided lane, a dual spiral, or configuring the spiral to have multiple inlets.
