Signing Day: As part of Ryson’s Workforce Development program, we are partnering with New Horizons Regional Education Center. They run an advanced technical careers academy that trains high school students for careers in manufacturing and construction.
Last week was signing day where graduating students marched across the stage to accept job offers from 30 employers in the region. Our commitment is to hire students from their program and in turn and the academy will provide qualified candidates ready to work and motivated to make a career in manufacturing.
Corey Crockett and James Griffen of York County accepted offers from Ryson and will start working after graduation in mid-June. We are excited to welcome them to the Ryson Team!
