This week at PACKEX in Toronto, we are unveiling our slat styles display. It highlights the modular and adjustable construction and shows off several of our slat sizes and styles. It is a useful and illustrative sales tool that helps explain why certain slat styles are used in certain instances.
The top tier shows our 1600-500 with 20″ wide standard capacity slat that is used in many case handling applications. Next is the1700-600 High Capacity 24″ wide slat that features a more robust chain offering increased capacity in terms of weight and total height. The next slat is the 1900-400 mass flow 16″ wide slat that is typically used in the beverage industry and is capable of vertically moving bottles, cans and jars – full or empty – in a mass flow. The bottom slat shows a cross section of what our 1200-300/2000-300 dual track spiral conveyor with 12″ wide slats looks like and shows how two tracks are nested on one unit.
