This week we performed a customer video testing of 50 lb. bags of pet food in one of our test spirals. This included fully loading the spiral with bags and running at the line speed that the end-user will be running.
We video-taped a start-stop test showing that the spiral can start fully-loaded with up to 1,800 lbs. of product and that the bags would not re-orient or slide back during intermittent operation of the line.
Finally, the video-tape showed the areas potentially affected in the event of a leaking bag on the spiral and our options available to allow for thorough cleaning of that residue.
