This week, a Ryson custom Spiral is built to solve layout challenges in an existing system.
Our Integrator partner – GC Evans needed to line up their client’s new case packer to some existing conveyors. The application is for a major brewery’s new can line in an old building with a lot of special angles. The spiral’s infeed needed to meet some non-standard tangent angles to link the new and existing parts of the line together, both at different elevations.
The Ryson spiral conveyor is ideal for this, because of it’s high throughput capabilities and modular construction. It allows the end-user a very reliable solution for vertical conveying of the packaged product on it’s way to the palletizer. The spiral shipped on a skid in one piece, streamlining the implementation of the system at the site.
