Complex Installation Simplified by our Modular Design

Complex Installation Simplified by the Ryson Modular Design: This week, we’re assisting our integrator partner G.C. Evans on a tricky installation in Canada. The end user, a canned foods co-packer needed the spiral to pass through a floor penetration and decline full cases from the second floor to the first floor.

Spiral InstallationComplicating the installation, was a second floor support beam that needed to pass through between the spiral body and it’s vertical chain return box. The Ryson Engineering Team designed and extended the infeed to provide adequate clearance which allowed the spiral to be assembled around the beam.

The Ryson modular design enabled us to ship this spiral in several pieces, allowing us to lower the body of the spiral through the hole penetration from the second floor and subsequently attaching the outfeed frame and return box.
