Community Outreach: Ryson is proud to be a corporate partner with Eggleston Services in Hampton, Virginia – A non-profit organization dedicated to helping persons with disabilities lead fuller, richer lives by finding and creating opportunities for individuals to make the most of their abilities, contribute to society, and enjoy the satisfaction of working and earning their own living.
Ryson provides piece work in the form of inserting chain slats, making carrier assemblies, and building chain sub-assemblies to name a few. This work helps employ 31 associates, teaching them important job skills and an opportunity to earn their own living. Each associate receives training and vocational support, daily, on completing the tasks.
Ryson benefits from their work by being able to outsource jobs that would otherwise require additional labor in our plant. Ryson has maintained a successful partnership with Eggleston since 2010.
