Challenging Project for a Dual Track Spiral Conveyor

Ryson Dual Track Spiral ConveyorRyson recently hosted a Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for Gonnella Frozen Food Products, Inc. The Systems Integrator Thomas Conveyor Company approached Ryson  with an interesting challenge: To replace two existing case elevators with one Ryson Dual Track Spiral Conveyor in a very tight space.

Ryson Dual Track Spiral Conveyor Shipping
Due to tight installation space, the Ryson Dual Track Spiral Conveyor had to be partially assembled on location

The spiral itself is 18 feet tall and has 6 1/2 turns. At the FAT, the spiral was fully assembled, and running test product. Ryson Spirals normally ship in once piece, but this spiral had to be partially disassembled prior to shipping in order to be installed in a very restricted space. The old case elevators were ripped out, and the new spiral installed over a weekend.

The new Ryson Dual Track Spiral is the ultimate in space savings.

Two tracks operate independently within one spiral structure. Both slat conveyor tracks can go up or down, and can optionally be reversible. The Dual Track Spiral Conveyor is an ideal solution when space is an important issue. Visit the Ryson Dual Track Spiral Conveyor page on www.ryson.com to get additional information.
