A little insight into the history of the Royal Apollo Group
The story of Royal Apollo traces back to the late 1840s. Initially, the first generation of the Van den Pol family laid the foundation with a humble blacksmith shop in the Netherlands. Over the generations, the family’s dedication and vision propelled the company forward, shaping it into the global powerhouse it is today.
In the late ’90s, Apollo introduced a revolutionary machine—the Spiral Conveyor—which further solidified its position as an industry innovator.

Claudia takes over
In 2016, the CEO at that time passed the torch to his daughter, Claudia Van den Pol. Her energy, drive, and vision have propelled Apollo toward its long-term goals, building upon the strong foundation laid by previous generations. The same year witnessed the establishment of Apollo VTS Asia Ltd. in Thailand—a strategic move to strengthen Apollo’s presence in the Asia Pacific market. Subsequent expansions in Shanghai and Pune underscored Apollo’s commitment to global growth and customer satisfaction.

Then, in 2021, Royal Apollo Group took another leap forward by acquiring its long-time US sister company, Ryson International. This strategic move further solidified Apollo’s position as a truly global organization, enhancing its ability to serve customers worldwide.
