The Ryson new super compact Narrow Trak Spiral Conveyors are getting great reviews. These Spirals are designed to handle small loads and have a centerline diameter of only 3′ 7″.
Ryson has increased the slat width from 5″ to 6″ to accommodate a greater variety of product sizes. The new nesting slats provide a smooth conveying surface and have no gaps or pinch points. They can end transfer small cartons and packages, or side transfer small bottles and containers in single file or in mass.
The Spirals are designed to reliably operate at speeds in excess of 200 fpm and run remarkably quiet at high speeds. This makes them a preferred alternative to side gripper elevators.
