Narrow Trak Spiral Ideal for Small Package Conveying.

Tall Ryson NT: Ideal for Small Package ConveyingSmall package conveying: This week we’re shipping one of our Narrow Trak Spiral Conveyors, to a food manufacturer. The model 1700-150 NT will elevate single serve gelatin cups to a 20’ elevation at 290 per minute.

The system integrator, Nercon, will be end-transferring in and out of the spiral via a micro-pitch transfer. The spiral’s full width friction inserts keep the cups in position on the way up this 7-turn spiral, inclining at an angle just above 6 degrees.

This 6” wide slat Narrow Trak model is also available in a smaller diameter 4’-2”. The 1200-230 NT Model has wider 9″ slat surface with an outside diameter of 4′-9″.

The Narrow Trak Spirals offer a significantly larger elevation change capacity than what is currently available in the small package marketplace. They are also a good alternative to side gripper conveyors because they can run at high speeds and do not need to be adjusted for varying product sizes. The nesting slats have the capacity to reliably end-transfer small cartons and packages or side-transfer small bottles or containers in a single file or in a continuous mass flow.
