Wide Trak Spiral adds Line Compatibility to Applications

The Ryson Wide Trak Spiral can add line compatibility in applications where different sized products are conveyed. The Ryson Wide Trak Spiral can add line compatibility in applications where different sized products are conveyed.

A perfect example is this spiral that was recently installed for a frozen pizza manufacturer. The pizzas are presented to our 30” wide slat surface either single file (for the large pies) or two-abreast (for the smaller ones). A simple diverter at the discharge conveyor directs them to the correct exit route, based on which size they are running at the time.

We specified our new Wide Trak model 2200-760 to accept over-wrapped pizzas from the freezer discharge, down nine feet to the packaging line. We see a great deal of applications where there’s a need to decline from a spiral freezer.

This Wide Trak was built in our hybrid stainless steel version. The spiral runs between 150 and 200 FPM and has an optional inside guide rail.
