High Capacity Application: Many think of using our spiral conveyors for handling boxes and totes, but not often for heavy pails and buckets.
This week we’re shipping three spirals to a large paint manufacturer for our Integrator partner, Control Systems Design.
The smaller spiral – model 1200-200 with 8″ wide slats – will decline one gallon buckets of paint at a rate of 150 per minute. The other two spirals will handle five gallon pails weighing up to 80 pounds each – at a rate of 22 per minute. We’ve specified the Ryson High Capacity 1700-400 model with a 16” wide slat surface for the two 5-gallon spirals. This is because they can handle a weight capacity of 3,600 lbs. One of them is ascending and the other descending and they are both 15 ft tall.
The Ryson High Capacity Spiral Conveyors are in response to our customers need to go higher and handle more weight.
