Extended Infeed Helps With Tight Layout Solutions

Extended Infeed Helps With Tight Layout Solutions
This spiral conveyor has a custom extended infeed to simplify the layout and help with tight layout solutions.

Extended Infeed Helps With Tight Layout Solutions:

The Ryson modular design allows the position, angle and length of the infeed or outfeed tangent to be customized. This feature makes Ryson Spiral Conveyors more flexible and easier to fit into the most challenging layouts.

The pictured spiral was shipped to Procter & Gamble in Brockville, Canada. The customer needed to have a centerline offset 16″ between the upper level infeed and the discharge at the lower level in order to make the layout work in their limited space. The engineering team at Ryson proposed a solution where the offset could be facilitated by the spiral itself. This solution simplified the layout which in turn reduced controls and integration costs.

Typically, the infeed tangent can be modified on up spirals and the outfeed tangent on spirals used as lowerators. This feature makes Ryson Spiral Conveyors more flexible and easier to fit into the most challenging layouts. For more information on the modular design of the Ryson Spiral Conveyors and the many industries they are utilized, visit www.ryson.com.
