The Modex show has been a smashing success for Ryson. We weren’t sure what to expect since this was the first Modex exposition, but the attendance is better than expected and Ryson gets to show off our new Spiral Conveyors to many new prospects and integrators.

Ryson’s booth is running a tall Case Spiral Conveyor with a 16″ wide slats and a High Capacity Spiral with 24″ wide slats. The High Capacity Spiral is running with two induction conveyors to demonstrate how we can introduce packages at intermediate levels into the spiral both in the up, and down direction. The Multiple Infeed Spiral is getting much attention in the warehousing and distribution marketplace.

Betting on Ryson Red in Vegas!

Pack expo 2011 is a hive of activity. Attendance is up and the Ryson booth is busy as ever.

 

The spiral conveyor is getting increased attention at the packaging shows and our shiny stainless steel mass flow spiral conveyor is a huge attractor, moving bottles of beer up and down.
Our tall red vertical case spiral can be seen from much of the south hall. Because it’s running, it always stops people in the aisles. It is running an assortment of packaged products that illustrates the diversity of its conveying capabilities.

One of our integrators, Arrowhead Conveyor Systems, also featured a Ryson Spiral Conveyor in their booth. It was in a system loop where a robotic depalletizer feeds packages to a down spiral. A conveyor then brings them to the palletizer. It was a nice display illustrating how a spiral can facillitate a packaging line.

PackExpo is a great show for Ryson and we find it gratifying that customers visit us to express their satisfaction with our spiral machines. Multiple Entry and High Capacity Spiral Conveyors from Ryson International, Inc.

The Ryson High Capacity Spiral Conveyors are designed in response to our customers’ need to go higher and handle more weight.

These high capacity vertical spirals handle double the capacity of our regular spirals and ship in one piece which will drastically reduce the time and cost of installation. Ryson Spiral Conveyors need less floor space than conventional vertical conveyors and are faster and more reliable than any elevator or lift. The load capacity is 75 lbs. per linear foot of conveyor for speeds up to 200 FPM.  The total weight capacity in the spiral at any one time is 3600 lbs.  Only one drive motor is required, resulting in substantial savings in energy, controls, and system integration.

Multiple Entry Spirals.

The Multiple Entry Spirals allow loads to enter the spirals from several different elevations. A new high speed induction conveyor provides controlled spiral entry. The conveyor belts are individually adjustable to match the spiral pitch. Traffic controls are required to prevent loads entering from different levels colliding in the spiral.

Ryson Spirals have never been more visible.

This week, Ryson is exhibiting at two trade shows in two different countries.

At PackEx in Toronto Canada, we are displaying a tall case spiral that stands out from the crowd. This is turning out to be a wonderful opportunity to reach out to our Canadian integrators and their customers. It’s always a shot in the arm when our customers bring their customers to our booth to show off our spiral conveyors.

In Mexico, Ryson is running a stainless steel mass flow spiral conveyor. Expo Pack in Mexico City attracts companies from Central and South America. The Ryson Vertical Conveying concept is taking root in Latin America and the kinetic interest is palpable. This show is also a great opportunity to forge new integrator relationships.

Another First for Ryson – Two Expositions, Two Countries, One Week

This year, PackEx the largest packaging show in Canada and ExpoPack, catering to Latin America will be running concurrently. Ryson will be attending BOTH.

ExpoPack 2011 Mexico – EXPO PACK México offers direct access to the packaging and processing industries in Latin America attracting buyers from throughout the region. Ryson will be exhibiting a stainless steel mass flow spiral conveyor – Ryson will be in the PMMI section of the show. C&A, one of our integrators will also be running a Ryson Vertical Spiral Conveyor in their booth, 2914. This spiral is used as a case elevator.

Ryson is having a fantastic show this week at ProMat 2011 in Chicago. We are meeting new systems integrators that are very impressed with our vertical conveying technology and end users who wouldn’t normally be exposed to innovations and solutions like the spiral conveyors.

The tall red Ryson Spirals are running during the show and always stop people in the aisles. The new high capacity spiral conveyor with the multiple infeed induction conveyor is impressing many of our integrators that service the distribution and warehousing markets. It becomes clear how this technology can add efficiency to warehousing flow as well as minimizing the cost of ownership.

Ryson is preparing for ProMat 2011

Ryson will exhibit their new High Capacity Spiral Conveyor with multiple entry capabilities in booth # 1523 during ProMat 2011. It will be held at McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois March 21 – 24.

Ryson Multiple=The Ryson High Capacity Spirals handle double the capacity of our standard spiral model. The load capacity is 75 lbs. per linear foot of conveyor with speeds up to 200 FPM. Pack Expo Day 4 – Case Spiral Steals the show.

The previous show model had been sold since their last trade show, so a shiny new red spiral was built in our manufacturing plant in Yorktown, Virginia just a few weeks before the show.

Ryson Spiral Conveyors need less floor space than conventional conveyors and are faster and more reliable than any elevator or lift.
