Factory Acceptance Tests

Share

Ryson is happy to host Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT). Last week our integrator partner, D.I. Engineering Corporation, inspected the spiral conveyor we were preparing to ship to their customer, an overseas beverage packaging facility handling cases of full PET bottles.

Here our controls engineer is going over the electrical controls system design. We went on to the operational testing of the spiral, including loading the spiral with cases to observe it’s handling characteristics and conducting various operating scenarios. During this time, motor amperage and temperature were monitored during a dry run period.

Our technicians then demonstrated how the spiral was to be stood up and the proper rigging procedure the installation crew should follow on site once the spiral arrived.

Ryson gladly sets up both product testing and factory acceptance tests as part of our commitment to customer service. For more information, or to contact us with questions or to set up a FAT, product test or tour, please visit www.ryson.com.
