Periodically, our clients request “dry run testing” on their vertical spiral conveyors before leaving our Virginia facility. One such customer asked us to combine this with a video FAT (factory acceptance test).
During the dry run testing, we take hourly temperature readings on the motor, gearbox and bearings and monitor noise level of the spiral conveyor. This is conducted during an 8 hour period and the data sent off to the customer along with a video of the spiral running their test product.
This service saves the customer valuable time and the cost of travelling to our facility to witness the testing of the spiral lift. Just another “extra” that we do that sets Ryson apart from all our competitors.
